This Hormone Balancing Almond, Maca & Cinnamon Smoothie is full of nutritional goodness that has a sweet cookie flavour made with whole nutritious ingredients. As we move in to autumn, this smoothie will give you all the autumnal feels!
Maca has hormone-normalising effects, which may be due to the root’s unique nutritional profile. The plant provides optimum levels of nutrients utilised by the body’s endocrine system. This action regulates metabolism, energy levels, growth, underlying inflammation and the sense of well-being.
What you’ll need:
* 1 Small Banana
* 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
* 2 tbsp Almond Butter
* 1 1/2 tsp Maca Powder
* 1 1/2 Dairy-Free Milk
* Approx 5 Ice Cubes
* 2 Medjool Dates, pitted
* 2 tbsp Ground Flaxseed
* 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
* 1 tbsp Raw Protein Powder, (I used hemp)
